. There were 177 members and guests registered for the reunion this time, a very good turn-out including some old friends who hadn't been before and some sons and daughters making their first time. |

The location of the hotel was too far from the airport and too remote from
eating and shopping facilities, unless you had a car. The hotel also had too
many steps for senior members, but over all, the reunion was enjoyed by all.
Thursday many went to a real Chuckwagon dinner at the Flying W Ranch up

We enjoyed a rooten-tooten stage show afterwards. Friday we toured the Air Force Academy, the alma-mater of some of sons of our members. At the Air Force Academy Cemetery, we held a memorial service with a fly over of a WW II Spitfire |

Lunch was at Doolittle Hall, the hall of the Association of Graduates of
the Air Force Academy. Saturday, while we held our business meeting, the
ladies toured the Garden of the Gods and shopped. The Saturday night Banquet
and dance hosted 172 in attendance. The son of one of our members wore his
Dad's old pink's 'n greens! Our president cracked us all up when he said how
delighted he was to see so many widows attend and hoped to see more at future
reunions! For the members who stayed over Sunday, we had a tour of the |
