Reunion 2000

Aug 24 - 28

Holiday Inn & Conference Center, Fairborn, Ohio.

Thursday was check-in and registration at the Hospitality Room provided by Sandy Friedman. Friday saw a tour of nearby Dayton and a visit to the Packard Museum.

On Friday evening, the Hospitality Room was festooned with displays of memorabilia. We even had a surprise visit from a USO (United Services Organization) volunteer in WWII uniform and authentic badges. We all gathered around her, just as we did in the old days.

Saturday, we visited the Air Force Museum and Memorial Park on Wright-Patterson AFB. Many of us enjoyed taking brass rubbings from the 315th Troop Carrier Group memorial plaque placed there.

Sunday we had a tour of Bellfair County Shops with lunch at The Country Kitchen.
